GreenDroid GD ROM

GreenDroidGD is a custom rom developed by Blaze from xda-developers forums. As you can see pretty much the whole user interface is themed in green, you could call this something unique apart from most ICS/JellyBean UI clones. The developer didn't give much information on core changes such as what kind of tweaks and improvements have been applied to the rom, but mostly just information on which parts of the rom have been themed in green.

But by looking at a screenshot below, it appears it atleast has the basic features any custom rom should offer such as the AOSP lockscreens, EDT tweaks, CPU control, DSP Manager, etc.

Installation instructions:

1. Download the zip file to your sdcard
2. Boot into CWM Recovery
3. Wipe data and cache
4. Select "install zip from sdcard"
5. Select "choose zip from sdcard"
6. Locate and choose the rom zip file
7. Choose "Yes" when asked to confirm
8. After installation is complete, choose "reboot system now"

Installation:

Requierements: CWM by MadTeam, SGY S5360, SD Card (100Mb Min.), some battery juice (50% required)

In CWM MadTeam:

1. Wipe Data/ Factory reset
2. Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache
3. Install ZIP > Choose ZIP > PhoYdroid_V.2.zip -> Should not take very long. (20-40 sec)
4. Choose Reboot System Now

Ultimate alfa Rom v 4.2

Ultimate Alfa Rom 4.2 is a custom rom developed by AlfaTeam at the xda-developers forums.
It consists of lots of graphical changes aswell as core changes. A very glowy and interesting look.
The icons seem to be like a mixture between Nokia and MIUI, the status bar of a stock ICS/JB and other goodies such as tweaks for less battery and memory usage, 7 lockscreens, and many more.

AOSP GingerBread 0.3.7 RC2 - Android update For Galaxy Y

The stock rom for galaxy y is 2.3.6 Ginger bread . But an xda developer took the AOSP (ANdroid Open Source Project ) and developed this one with 2.3.7 GB for us . This is pure Ginger Bread with out any samsung apps and many other . So just a pure update rom for us .

Pre -Requisities : -

1. A rooted android mobile.

2. You need to have clockwork mod recovery installed .

3. Now you have to go through your phone and enable Unknown sources in settings >applications>unknown sources and also enable USB debugging from settings>applications>development>USB debugging .

4. I recommend you to have atleast have 70 % charging before starting this procedure .

Instructions :

1. First download both the files and copy them to sdcard .

2. Then go to reboot recovery of android ( not cmw recovery ) . And flash kernel you have downloaded .

3. Then reboot recovery and now enter cmw recovery . Format system , data and cache .

4. Mount them again .

5. Now select install zip from sd card and select the aosp gingerbread2.3.7 .zip file .

6. Wait for it to install and reboot .

7. Enjoyyyyyyyy .

Directions to flash:
1.-shutdown ur cell.
2.-press and hold volume up button+home+power button.
u ll be on stock recovery now.
3.-flash cwm zip(GO TO CWM NOW)
4.-mount system and data
5.-flash the zip (signed_VulpiX1.0.zip) and reboot

ALL IN ALL U JUST HAVE TO FLASH THE ZIP FROM CUSTOM RECOVERY LIKE CWM..

NOTE : FIRST BOOT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME AND SOME USERS MIGHT GET BOOTED TWICE. SO IT WILL LOOK LIKE A BOOTLOOP BUT IT ISNT.
if ur first boot is taking much longer then just take out the battry and reboot..

Do take a nandroid bakckup.. :P
